Privacy Policy

Last updated 27 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and how we look after it. It covers the website only. How we look after the information we hold about the children in our care and their families is set out in our GDPR and data protection policy.

Who we are

This website is run by Into-Play Ltd, which runs Into-Play Barnwood (51 Barnwood Road, Gloucester GL2 0SD) and Into-Play The Quays (Llanthony Road, Gloucester GL2 5HQ). Into-Play Ltd is the data controller for the information described here.

If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email hello@intoplay.co.uk.

When you send us an enquiry

Our contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number (optional), which nursery your enquiry is about and your message. When you send it, it goes by email to the nursery you chose, so the team can reply. It is not stored on the website.

We use your details only to answer your enquiry and, if you go on to book a show round or a place, to arrange it. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.

When you apply for a job

Our application form asks for your contact details, information about your experience and qualifications, your CV, and answers to self-declaration questions about your suitability to work with children. This information is stored securely on the website, where only the people who manage recruitment can see it. We send them an email alert when a new application arrives, with your name and the role only.

We use your application only to consider you for the role, and to carry out the checks the law requires before anyone can work with children. Applications are deleted automatically after 6 months. If you start an application but do not finish it, what you entered is deleted after 2 days.

Cookies

This website uses one cookie of its own, and only on the job application form. It remembers which application you are working on while you move between the two steps, and is deleted when you finish. Staff who log in to update the website also use WordPress’s login cookies.

Our pages show reviews from daynurseries.co.uk, which loads from their website and may set its own cookies. Links to maps open Google Maps, which has its own privacy policy.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. The website is hosted by our web developer, Squee, who can access it only to look after the website.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@intoplay.co.uk and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
