Fresh food, cooked on site every day

Every meal is prepared in our own kitchen by our resident cook, from a four-week rotating menu of home-cooked food.

A five-star kitchen at the heart of the nursery

Our resident cook prepares fresh, healthy and delicious food on site every day, from a hot lunch to high tea and snacks. Since we introduced our healthy eating scheme, we have been awarded the highest 5-star food hygiene rating across all of our nurseries, every year.

Every menu is planned around a balanced, varied diet, and dietary requirements are always accommodated. Just speak to the nursery manager and we will make sure your child is well looked after.

Children get involved in the kitchen

Food is part of learning with us. The children get hands on in the kitchen from an early age, building healthy habits and a bit of independence along the way.

It all sits alongside the healthy eating scheme we have followed for years, which is why fresh, balanced food is part of every single day.

  • Prepare their own healthy snacks, like cutting up vegetables
  • Bake fresh bread for afternoon tea
  • Help set up and tidy away at mealtimes
  • Try new foods and flavours together
